Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city’s leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

**The **Accountant** will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Prepare monthly financial statement and accounting reports on a timely basis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, costing and data analysis, etc.
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare Accounts Reconciliation monthly.
- Supervise the accounting officers and support the management of all aspects of accounting and financial functions.
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the hotel industry
- Familiar with experience in computerized accounting systems and very good MS Office knowledge, strong Excel skills
- Fluent in written & spoken English & ideally German
- Structured way of working, quick learning ability and analytical thinking
- Self-initiative, attentive to details and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, detailed-oriented, hands on, multi-tasking and able to work independently and under pressure
