Your assignments

**Functional Goal**:

- Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of Fresenius Kabi SwissBioSim's infrastructure.
- Be responsible for the company's health and safety policy, in accordance with the Ordinance on the qualifications of occupational safety specialists (OQual).

**Main Tasks**:
**Facility Manager and Building Coordination**:

- Work in collaboration with external contractors and the FM company in charge of building installation maintenance.
- Manage and monitor subcontractors according to defined specifications.
- Maintain existing building infrastructure and actively participate in facility modernization projects.
- Participate in the creation and/or modification of preventive plans for building equipment.
- Follow-up of budget (CAPEX and OPEX), orders and invoices.
- Manage the access control (security) policy of the company.

**Occupational Health and Safety**:

- Identify occupational health and safety hazards to which employees may be exposed.
- Investigate opportunities for development and continuous improvement in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Work together with the EHS Team (including a chemical safety officer, a biosafety officer and a safety coordinator). Carry out risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain a safety culture by informing, training and involving all employees.
- Carry out internal audits/inspections.
- Propose health and safety improvement solutions.

Division of activities between Facility Management and Occupational Health and Safety: 50-50%.

**Other Tasks**:

- Responsible for the company's security policy (access control and management of security services).
- Responsible for organizational fire protection prevention measures for the site's two buildings

**Profile**:
**Qualification profile**:

- Technical education such as CFC in building-related field or equivalent.
- Certified as occupational health and safety specialist (as stated in OQual Ordinance).
- Certified as Fire Safety Officer (AEAI) would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of CH authorities’ requirements.
- Good technical knowledge in various building fields, including health and safety.
- Knowledge of Laboratory environment (biotechnology, pharmacology and chemistry).
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Work experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar position.
- Fluency in English and French is essential.
