Group Sales Manager, France and French-switzerland

Our Group Sales Manager, France and French-Switzerland will manage identified key accounts in all market segments and to also identify and develop new potential accounts within the assigned geographical area for Kempinski Hotels.

The overall objectives of the role of Group Sales Manager:
To increase revenues and profits generated from existing and potential key accounts to achieve set annual target within France and French speaking part of Swiss market
Personal annual revenue targets are consistently achieved.
To develop a tight network and relationship with accounts that have the potential to contribute to the economic success of Kempinski Hotels
To improve communication and information on key accounts for all hotels and offices
To generate and maintain via Sales Force correct and comprehensive data on accounts.

The main responsibilities are:
To manage a designated number of GSO KEY accounts producing group business and to grow new accounts to enhance the database.
Sales Force usage as the main CRM tool. Ensure the CRM system is fully utilized for the tracking of all sales activities, business opportunities and strategic account plans.
To analyze every account with regard to additional business opportunities, need structure,decision and booking patterns.
To negotiate conditions and to contract defined accounts on behalf of all Kempinski Hotels
Identify prospective new accounts through market research.
To monitor market trends and communicate these to the hotels in the yearly business plan
Initiate, coordinate and participate in educational trips to Kempinski destinations
Arrange and conduct customer sales presentations during Sales calls (joined and individual)
Organization & participation in Soirées, Exhibitions, Trade Fairs, Joint Sales Call dates and Telemarketing activities throughout the year
To communicate enquiries to respective hotels in an efficient, professional, and accurate way according on the MICE SOP’s
The ability to offer assistance to need hotels and prioritize new openings by producing individual activity plans as and when required
Close cooperation with sales support regarding general administration and office administration tasks
Follow personal Sales Plans and Activity Plans, communicating to hotels and updating on a regular basis where appropriate, adapting budget and forecast on a regular basis
Contribute to annual sales operation budget in terms of office and MICE expenditure
