To strengthen our Global Product Management Team we are looking for a**Product Manager (f/m) for the Product Group Biogums**:
**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Coordination between Sales Team and Production
- Monitoring and analysis of sales
- Portfolio and inventory management
- Support of Production with relevant planning information
- Market analyses and competition monitoring
- Evaluation of potential markets
- Generation and management of sales leads, follow up of samples sent to prospects
- Support of our international Sales Teams with customer retention and acquisition through joined visits
- Creation and update of sales support documents like brochures and presentations
- Training of Sales Team and distribution partners, participation to trade shows

**Profile**:

- PhD, MSc or similar education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology or Business Administration
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar field
- Flair for Business Management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex interdisciplinary tasks
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Deep curiosity, ownership mentality and team spirit
- Willingness to travel internationally (15 - 20 %)

**Future**:
You will directly report to the Product Group Manager Biogums. In this interface position between Sales and Production, you will enjoy extensive contacts to a variety of teams such as our international Sales Team, our Production Plants, Quality Management, Technical Service, Application Technology and Marketing. You will be located at the Headquarters of our successful, medium-sized and family-owned company in Basel, in the attractive “border triangle“ of France, Germany and Switzerland.
