We are looking for a mission-aligned and experienced investor, seeking a role with high responsibility in a flexible, international, and welcoming work environment, to supplement our team of investors, entrepreneurs, and operators.

Tasks

Role Summary

As a VP/Principal in the team, you will be responsible for leading due diligence processes, sourcing new managers and contributing to the wider strategic direction of the team:

- You have at least 5+ years of experience allocating capital into impact VC funds (Climate and/or Health & Wellbeing);
- You have an established/proven network of funds within the impact ecosystem in the US/Europe;
- You know how to conduct research about market trends, and how to perform rigorous Funds due diligence. Additional due diligence work streams will also include, but are not restricted to legal and compliance;
- You will analyze the portfolio on a quarterly basis and prepare portfolio reviews for discussion within the team;
- You will be expected to not only investigate themes by talking to funds, founders, and domain experts but also effectively share your findings by modeling out scenarios, testing assumptions, synthesizing your learnings, iterating with the team’s feedback and pitching to the Investment Committee.

- Experience - You come from a VC background investing in impact startups (Climate and/or Health & Wellbeing);
- Well networked - You have a strong network of deep-tech impact startups, entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, supporters and enablers;

- Communications - You have excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills;

- Integrity - You demonstrate 100% commitment to the highest ethical standards;
- Attitude - You can “elevate the room” through your work ethic, curiosity, can-do attitude and sense of humor in hectic times;
- Multispoken - Excellent command of English language, additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a strong plus;
- Academics - you have an MSc in economics, banking, finance, or business administration.
