**The Role**:
Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Supply Chain, you will make an immediate impact to our Supply Chain team by leading country and regional level demand management, market replenishment, key account management, and collaboration with sales and marketing in Europe and Middle East. The Director Supply Chain EMEA is accountable for coordinating a consensus forecast in collaboration with commercial planning, finance, and others to ensure the proper demand signal/forecast is being submitted for all commercial products. You will integrate Project Strategy and CMC Operational plans and develop an optimized end to end Demand plan while considering cost and risk (DS/DP) to support execution of Projects in respect with Regulatory and Quality requirements. This provides an opportunity to operate in a highly collaborative role with both external and internal partners to enable production plans to be created, maintained, and delivered.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Builds and leads the EMEA Supply Chain Team by supporting, coaching, mentoring and developing team members in reaching supply chain, quality and business objectives.

Proactively and continuously challenge the organizational performance and develop and implement improvements in organizational performance

Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with supply chain and business partners to ensure alignment of objectives and results

Ensure quality and completeness of demand signal and align with regional launch leads to ensure the successful launch of new products.

Manage and measure Moderna delivery performance, including on-time supply to plan, and inventory vs. target inventory

Lead innovative thinking and foster continuous improvement across S&OP processes/ activities.

Engage Commercial business leaders in resolving strategic demand/supply issues through in-depth analysis and marketplace assessment to understand the risk/benefit tradeoffs between various approaches and opportunities

Responsible for an effective relationship management with customers and Logistics Service Providers for all supply related matters, such as order management and in
- and outbound logistics to guarantee high customer service levels

Develop strategic plans for replenishment to market and key customers

Act as a strategic business partner and representative for CMC on commercial projects, launches and initiatives

Serve as the supply liaison for government contracts

Manages Customer Services and ensures effective management of the customer interface from a supply chain perspective, incl. communication on sales order, deliveries and issue resolution

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Science or Economics/Finance with 10 years’ experience.

8+ years’ supply chain management (incorporating production planning) experience within Pharma or other Lifesciences manufacturing environments.

Strategic Planning and ability to simplify complex issues and topics

APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP accreditations preferred.

Working knowledge of site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life-cycle management.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, at all levels, in a CMO environment.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across boundaries (functional and cultural) and form effective working relationships with colleagues.

Demonstrated change management and process management experience is preferred

Experience in project development and Demand & supplies process, GMP, GCP and other regulatory requirements as they pertain to Demand & supplies.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
