For our client an international pharmaceutical company based in the Basel region we are looking for a Global Product Marketing (Services).

**Global Product Marketing (Services)**:
**Background**

We are looking for a skilled marketing professional. Knows how to operate in a complex matrixed organization. Works cross functionally and is able to collaborate with fellow team members and operate independently. Will support and have responsibility as part of one of our product Lifecycles so will need to be able manage multiple stakeholders.

We are looking for 2 marketing profiles. The skillset is the same; the difference is on the seniority level. One position will require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; the second one will need minimum 2 years. For both roles, we are looking for someone with strong proven experience in marketing, both in marketing strategy and execution; we need someone able to create and execute a marketing plan with previous experience on both a global and local level. We need someone with experience creating marketing value proposition, with experience in market segmentations, market insights, customer value drivers etc. This person should have experience in digital product and in B2B marketing (please note someone with only consumer brands experience will not be suitable). Finally, experience in either healthcare of software is needed.

**Task and Responsibilites**

Develop Messaging & Positioning: Develop product value propositions, positioning and messaging for different personas

Lead market assessment and product launch efforts from a global marketing perspective: build and implement the marketing strategy for new product launches, collaborating with commercialization, product, region and affiliates team to ensure well-coordinated execution.

Creating and developing innovative product marketing programs that drive awareness and demand

Craft and establish the key principles of agile marketing and agile ways of working in a collaborative working environment.

Sales enablement: communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products including conducting demos, creating content, assets, and tools

Marketing content: support demand generation and content marketing campaigns with expertly crafted content that speaks to each target vertical and person

Market intelligence: be the specialist on customers in each segment, how they buy and their buying criteria; use this knowledge to advise product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content and sales training.

Competitive Intelligence and Analysis: establish the driven intel strength and be the go to expert on how to crush the competition and how to win.

**You must have these qualifications**
- Seniority and years of experience
- Role 1: minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Role 2: minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven marketing experience from strategy to execution on global and local experience
- Broad experience in B2B marketing
- Strong experience with digital product marketing
- Previous experience in healthcare or software industry
- A business or marketing degree
- You can create a trusted relationship/partnership with sales, marketing, and product teams, as well as customers and partners
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills
- Competency in developing the positioning and messaging for products that serve multiple use cases and personas
- Expertise at creating visually compelling, engaging presentations that distill complicated concepts into succinct stories.
- Extensive experience developing and validating positioning, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentation.

**Nice to haves**
- Strong preference (not required) for software, SaaS, Healthcare IT product marketing
