Reporting to the Global Head of Scientific Claims Development, this role will lead scientific and strategic discussion with Academia, KOLs, practicing Dermatologists in the ideation phase to bring the scientific credibility to Galderma’s products and brand.

You will be responsible for establishing scientific communication strategies (congresses participation, posters, symposiums, scientific publications) to support HCPs strategy in coordination with other stakeholders. You will be involved in the post-launch support of affiliates for new studies, H2H studies and IITs and for scientific support regarding products already on the market. You will review and approve scientific information that is being leveraged by other teams across the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build strong relationships with critical Academic Partners, KOLs, practicing Dermatologists to identify key emerging science to influence the innovation pipeline
- Develop new partnership opportunities to initiate fundamental research collaborations and delivering a mid and long-term scientific strategy
- Set-up scientific collaboration and post-launch studies
- Organize and manage scientific Expert meetings, including advisory boards, to drive the innovation pipeline strategy and get KOLs/dermatologists’ endorsement during the innovation process
- Establish scientific communication strategies (congresses participation, posters, symposiums, scientific publications) and ensure its timely execution
- Manage chair scientific communications strategy team meetings to ensure alignment of communication plans with medical and marketing plans
- Define & consolidate budget and resources according to the launch marketing plans
- Act as the key contact for marketing and HCP Medical Marketing Manager to support affiliates for new studies, H2H studies and IITs
- Lead, plan and execute IP opportunities for the innovation pipeline based on in vitro, clinical studies, active ingredients/complex of active ingredients
- Provide scientific expertise during due diligence process to the business development representatives
- Work with the clinical claim manager and regulatory manager to ensure clinical literature/data is available to support positioning (including Digital Marketing)
- Train the local Medical Affairs or local representatives regarding the product’s scientific-related matters
- Support affiliates by providing expertise to address questions from their local HCPs and authorities
- Identify and address the relevant medical/cosmetic needs of clinical practice to successfully support the optimal use of Cetaphil products
- Participate to the evaluation, validation, initiation, follow-up, and termination of Investigators Initiated Trials (IIT) inside the IIT committee

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Advanced University Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Medicine
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical research experience within a dermatology/cosmetics field
- Minimum of 10 years background in medical affairs/medical marketing
- Strong understanding of cosmetics development process
- Up-to-date knowledge about the skin, dermatology, and cosmetics
- Established network of stakeholders influencing Consumer Care business
- Proven experience of successfully translating scientific information to Dermatologists and other Health Care Professionals
- Extensive experience in managing fundamental research collaborations with KOLs & HCPs
- Strong experience in managing scientific communication strategy
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships
- Experience in working autonomously in cross-functional project teams including Marketing, Formulation, Analytics, and Regulatory Affairs
- Ability to influence others to ensure needs from project teams/ Brand strategies are met
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - must be able to interact successfully with all levels of personnel, with other divisions and departments (both written and verbal)
