**M &A Banker**:
Our client is a new company whose purpose is to acquire, hold, manage and sell direct or indirect participations in companies of all types, in Switzerland and abroad with a focus on technology-based companies. The company’s activities will include M&A / IB advisory practice supporting corporate and institutional clients through all phases of the business cycle through expert capabilities in M&A, Recapitalization & Restructuring, Capital Markets and Financial Institution Advisory. Beyond these services, our client can seed companies as well as invest in existing companies, finance them, or promote their development, in Switzerland and abroad. Our client intends to promote the creation and emergence of active start-ups by creating, among other things, ad hoc structures of the incubator type and by providing all the services necessary for said start-ups.

The company intends to develop a business in the financial technology sector through the development, implementation and promotion of a platform making use of internet-based technologies, including in blockchain technologies.

To support the two founders in their investments our client is looking for:
M&A/VC banker with 5-7 years of experience either as a generalist banker or TMT/Technology specialist.

Within a young, multidisciplinary, and dynamic team, you will be required to analyze companies ranging from technology to real estate. Your role will lead you to assist the in the investment process, from file screening, modeling, to the due diligence process. With strong analytical skills, curious and autonomous in nature, you can analyze investment strategies in private markets such as: private equity and real estate. You will meet the start-up community thanks to a unique internal incubator project.

**Tasks (specifications and/or evolving distribution of tasks)**:
Identification of acquisition targets based on defined criteria

Strategic and financial analysis of identified companies

Carry out and coordinate, in complete autonomy, due diligence

Preparation of summary documents, presentations for the two founders

Screening of investment opportunities in start-ups

Develop a network of start-ups

Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree

5-7 years of experience in M&A in a recognized institution

Autonomy, proactivity, rigor and interpersonal skills

Have already participated in buyout or business sale projects

Ability to carry out due diligence processes and modeling of transactions

Ability to defend one's point of view

A hands-on approach to work and willing to get involved in all aspects of the deal

Curiosity, flexibility, adaptability

Strong Excel and powerpoint skills

Fluent in French and English, German a plus
