**Position Summary**

The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discover, develop and deploy coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provide new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide.

As an **intern in Food Physics**, you will be involved in method development in order to characterize coffee products. The main topic of this internship will focus on shelf life activities to support implementation of sustainable packaging. You will have a hands on approach in physics laboratory and work with data analyses.

**A Day in the Life of a Food Physics Laboratory Intern**
- Build & run design of experiments (DoE)
- Consolidate and analyse data to make recommendations on next steps
- Write R&D reports
- Develop and update operating procedures for efficient laboratory operations
- Prepare clear and concise instructions and guidelines for equipment and laboratory methods
- Stay up to date on scientific literature

**What will make you successful**
- Master Student or freshly graduated (or equivalent) in Food Science, Physics or Chemistry
- Modelling skills would be a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and result focus combined with an innovative mindset
- Autonomy, good communication skills and team spirit
- Fluent in French and English
