Data Scientist Consultant

chAIron is dynamic HealthTech start-up committed to revolutionizing drug development through technology. Our mission is to harness the power of data to generate actionable healthcare insights that improve decision-making in the biotechnology field.
Duration: 3-6 months consulting, 10-12 hrs/week
Location: Remote
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models on EHR datasets to extract insights relevant to patient care and outcomes.
- Work closely with our product development team for proof-of-concept (PoC) integration of AI-driven analytics into our healthtech solutions.
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality data science pipeline within project timelines, contributing to the overall PoC success.
- Independently identify research opportunities and challenges, proposing innovative solutions to complex problems in healthcare data analysis.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related field, focusing on healthcare data analysis. Postdoctoral researchers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools essential for data science (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the context of RWD, data aggregation, EHR, and data processing.
- Proven ability to work independently, with a delivery-focused attitude and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
