As a Compliance Officer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the bank stays ahead of regulatory requirements in client onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and compliance reviews. Your expertise on KYC and AML will protect the bank's reputation and ensure the highest standards of compliance in the industry.

Description

Client Onboarding & Due Diligence

  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on both new and existing clients to meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Verify identities, analyze sources of wealth, and assess risk in line with KYC protocols.
  • Ensure all client documentation is accurate and complete, providing approvals where necessary.
  • Take part in specialized reviews, including Russian nexus and commercial accounts.

Ongoing Monitoring

  • Keep a vigilant eye on client transactions to identify unusual activities.
  • Ensure transaction patterns align with KYC/KYT standards and take swift action when discrepancies arise.
  • Investigate suspicious activities and report findings in compliance with AML regulations.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay ahead of the curve on evolving KYC/AML regulations, updating policies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless adherence to all legal requirements.

Training & Guidance

  • Educate and guide the front teams on the latest KYC processes and compliance updates.
  • Be the go-to expert for any KYC-related questions or issues within the division.

Collaborative Impact

  • Work closely with departments across wealth management, risk management, legal, and operations to ensure a unified compliance strategy.
  • Drive innovation by participating in compliance enhancement projects.

Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree with 3-7 years of experience in private banking or in a Big4 for the same type of mission.
  • Advanced proficiency in English; if you have an additional language like arabic or russian, a plus.
  • Swiss residency is required.
  • Flexibility to travel.

Job Offer

This position is quite interesting as it will cover any need the bank would need in compliance, as if you were working in a Big4 with several mission either in Geneva or in other offices abroad.
