Head of Practitioner and Business Development

The Head of Practitioner Engagement & Business Development will play a critical role in bringing in new clients while building, maintaining, and expanding our relationships with our practitioners within our clients and practitioners worldwide. Alongside bringing new clients to The Top Team Practice SA, this professional will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive engagement concept, driving practitioner satisfaction and growth, and identifying business opportunities to support the company's long-term goals. This role requires a deep understanding of leadership development, coaching and cultural transformation, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through business development initiatives, along with demonstrated experience in diverse international markets outside Europe.

 

Head of Practitioner and Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

Practitioner Engagement:

 

  • Develop and implement engagement conceptsto enhance relationships with current and prospective practitioners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (program management, product development, operations) to tailor programs that support clients’ needs.

 

  • Build a feedback loop from practitioners to better understand where they are at and to accordingly develop new approaches and ways of working. Organise and lead practitioner outreach efforts, including events, webinars, and training sessions

Innovation & Process Improvement:

  • Identify trends and opportunities for improving practitioner experience and engagement.
  • Leverage technology and digital platforms to enhance communication, support, and service delivery to practitioners.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine business development processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Business Development:

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Introduce to TTTP new clients, with a focus on geographical diversity, outside Europe.
  • Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence efforts to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with organisations that align with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Negotiate and close high-impact business deals and partnerships that contribute to both practitioner growth and overall company expansion.

Alignment with the TTTP management

  • Collaborate with managementto align practitioner engagement and business development strategies with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cohort responsible for engagement and business growth.
  • Set and monitor performance metrics for practitioner satisfaction and business development initiatives.
  • Deliver regular reports to management on progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Key Skills, Capabilities and Attributes:

  • Education:

Master’s degree in the field of Business, Human Capital Development, Leadership or a related field

  • Experience:
    • 10 years of experience in leadership development, Coaching, and consulting with international clients.
    • Proven track record in developing strong client relationships, ability to sell multi-year programmes and generate sustainable revenue from clients.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing high-value partnerships and closing strategic business deals.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a focus on practitioner needs.
    • Ability to identify market trends, customer insights, and business development opportunities.
    • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
