For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are recruiting a :

Corporate Finance Accountant - SAP

For a long-term temporary contract - 100%Corporate Finance Accountant - SAP H/FDESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION
You will be responsible for a wide range of Record-to-Report (RTR) activities at group level covering accounting, reporting (finance and tax) and international projects. Take responsibility for assigned operational and project tasks in the area of accounting and reporting SAP4 HANA and BPC environment.

These can include :
  • Assist in review of financial reporting packages during monthly, quarterly and annual closings,
  • Improve reporting quality through hands-on tasks in the new SAP environment and operating business model (including data and process validation and account reconciliation work),
  • Assist in providing technical support and training to countries and corporate functions when needed,
  • Participate in development and linking of group finance and accounting policies, technical memo's and accounting and tax accounting procedures (incl. transfer pricing and indirect tax),
  • Assist with strict compliance with internal controls over financial reporting (ICS) to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency,
  • Support for ad-hoc reporting analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and participate in other special projects for Group Finance Leadership team in support of and cooperation with local finance and GBS teams.
You will also be responsible for building strong relationships within Group Finance and Global Corporate Services to drive improvement, which includes:
  • Audit coordination support: contribute to the smooth execution of the Group and Statutory Audits,
  • Identification of opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and system enhancement for RTR (incl. intercompany and tax reporting -TP, indirect tax),
  • Standardisation of finance and controlling processes, increase effectiveness and efficiency based on benchmark analysis and best practices,
  • Collaboration with process experts and business units to offer process driven data solutions.

PROFIL ATTENDU
You will preferably have 3 to 5 years' experience in external audit, in consultancy firms or in the reporting department of an international group or GBS/SCS structure.
You will have a qualification in accounting and/or a degree in finance/accounting/business administration with a strong interest and affinity for tax and IT processes.
Additional certification is a plus (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).You speak English fluently. A 2nd or 3rd language (German, Dutch, Spanish) would be an advantage.You have a good knowledge of SAP (S/4 HANA) and are keen to learn more. You have the passion and desire to go into operational detail and execute with excellence. You have the ability to work independently, productively and as part of a team.
You have good oral and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to liaise with finance and other professionals at different levels.You have good understanding of business processes and the role of finance in a multinational company - Excellent organisational and time management skills.You are able to gain the support of management and stakeholders for constructive change.
