What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing state-of-the-art cloud infrastructures that are robust, scalable, and secure. You’ll work closely with a team of over 50 skilled cloud engineers, supporting our client’s customers in their cloud transformation journey. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Design and Implement: Create scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructures on AWS, GCP, or Azure and manage seamless workload migrations.
  • Cloud Security & Compliance: Identify and implement cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance and optimizing cost management.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with development and operations teams to facilitate successful cloud transitions for customers.
  • Consultancy: Provide expert advice to customers on utilizing cloud technologies to meet their specific needs.
  • Advocacy & Expertise Sharing: Actively promote a cloud-first culture within the company and share your knowledge with both internal teams and clients.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

We are looking for someone who is not just a cloud engineer but a cloud enthusiast who loves solving complex challenges. You should have:

  • A university degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including familiarity with frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework, Cloud Architecture Framework, and Well-Architected Framework.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, CodePipeline, Azure ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, network protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Bonus points for experience with hybrid architectures, event-driven architectures, and FinOps.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for continuous learning.
