Your role

As Assistant to CRM and Head Private Banking Basel at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an ambitious individual who is seeking to contribute to the Bank's success and provide permanent service to the Bank's front units.

Your responsibilities
  • Support CRMs in overall day-to-day business and TH in admin. work
  • Accompanying CRM's on client visits and prepare client meetings and business trips
  • Do account openings, closings and other documentations
  • Organization of client events in collaboration with Marketing
  • Monitor client portfolios, handling of client orders in the absence of CRMs, asset maturities and corporate actions
  • Help to prepare internal research publications
  • Dealing with internal and external policies and compliance regulations including FATCA, anti-money laundering (AML), MiFID, etc..
  • Support Head Private Banking Basel: Controlling, Market Strategy, Business development, administration and organization for the function as Delegate (Vice Chairman) of the Basel Banking Association
Your profile
  • Completed apprenticeship in the banking sector or commercial apprenticeship and/or Bachelor in Banking and Finance. University degree (university / FH) if the development goal goes in the direction of CRM
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience as Assistant in Private Banking
  • Interest in Financial Markets, knowledge and understanding of basic asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, etc.) as well as experience in placing orders in the main asset classes
  • Ability to weight problems and set priorities as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience with Banking Software Avaloq is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholder
  • Fluency in German and English, very good command in French is an advantage
