Cabin Steward on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Season 2025

As a Cabin Steward at The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team that crafts a truly memorable environment for all guests. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to guests to ensure that their needs are met throughout their stay and crafting personalized accommodations and amenities to cater to individual needs.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the cabins or rooms by sanitizing, changing bed linens, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests.
- Providing turndown services in the evening and preparing the cabin for rest while guests savour the fine cuisine in the dining car and enjoy sumptuous cocktails in the bar.
- Takes complete responsibility for maintaining the safety and security of the sleeping cars at all times.
Requirements:
- Several years' experience in Hospitality at luxury level.
- Experience in dealing with international customers.
- Basic knowledge of reception, housekeeping and/or F&B service techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting operations (over 35kg).
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong self-organization and time management skills.
- Team player.
- Travelling extensively across Europe.
- European or Swiss passport.
- Fluency in English and French, a basic comprehension of Italian a plus.
