To strengthen our legal team at the corporate headquarters in Berne we are looking for a highly motivated professional asSenior Legal Counsel (M/F/D)As part of a small and dedicated team, you will support the United Grinding Group on a wide range of legal and compliance matters in a highly international context. You will work closely with various departments in cross-functional teams and assume responsibility of the legal work-stream in negotiations, documentation and execution of contracts.Your key responsibilities will be the following:
  1. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and documenting commercial contracts, mainly related to sourcing activities and the manufacture, supply and distribution of our products.
  2. Advising the business on all legal matters and developing pragmatic solutions to legal issues for all areas of the business.
  3. Handling of disputes, litigation and investigations and overseeing legal defense actions in disputes with suppliers and customers.
  4. Managing external lawyers as required.
  5. Handling corporate law and corporate secretary matters.
  6. Supporting the Group in integration activities emerging from recent M&A transactions.
Your qualifications:
  1. Law degree and preferably Swiss bar membership.
  2. 5 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in the legal department of a multinational company.
  3. Solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  5. Fluency in business English.
  6. Willingness to travel.
