RADAR MECHATRONICS TECHNICIAN

FLIGHT MONITORING SYSTEMS

You will be working with the Radar & Air Communications Systems division in Zurich, supporting the Swiss Army in military airspace surveillance. This is a great opportunity to make a contribution to the security of military reconnaissance systems.

We support and accompany our customers on a long term basis from the idea and throughout the entire life cycle of the systems.

Your Role:

  • Conduct independent repair and testing of intricate electronic and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance on subsystems within TAFLIR and MALS radar systems.
  • Undertake service assignments at customer sites across Switzerland.
  • Collaborate with the TAFLIR Wangenerberg radar station team to ensure technical operations.
  • Manage technical processes, including documentation and material handling.

Your Qualifications:

  • Electronics technician qualification or equivalent training.
  • Preferred: Higher technical school degree in electronics.
  • Excellent German and English language skills (B1 level or higher). French language skills are beneficial.
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Switzerland.
  • Swiss OR EU citizenship.
