Bioprocess Technician

Bioprocess Engineer (m/f/d) We are seeking a motivated Bioprocess Engineer (m/f/d) to support the execution and optimization of GMP‑compliant production campaigns at a leading biotechnology manufacturing site in Visp, Switzerland. The role is hands‑on within operations and involves process oversight, documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as R&D. Strong communication skills, structured working habits, and the ability to support training activities are essential. Must‑Haves Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, ideally within operations Solid understanding of GMP requirements Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in cross‑functional and structured environments Team‑oriented mindset with leadership potential Fluent in German is highly preferred; English acceptable if German is not possible Well‑organized, proactive, and open to new approaches and ideas Experience with TrackWise is a strong advantage Main Responsibilities Ensure the correct and compliant execution of production campaigns following cGMP guidelines Prepare and review risk analyses and implement resulting actions Oversee batch execution, evaluate test results, troubleshoot equipment issues, and propose practical solutions Maintain complete and accurate documentation of processes, process knowledge, and GMP records Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for processes, equipment, and workflows Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including R&D, to increase process efficiency and optimize plant utilization Lead and support training activities, including campaign training and broader cross‑project or operational training Contribute to the maintenance of robust, efficient operations with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability Job Title: Bioprocess Engineer (m/f/d) Work Arrangement: On-site Contract Type: Fixed‑term until August 2026 Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Research and Analyst Industries Biotechnology Research and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
