IT Application Support / Trading Developer (BH-52079)

Salary: 600.00 CHF to 650.00 CHF per day

For our customer in the energy trading sector, we are seeking an IT Trade Floor Commando for a position in Lausanne. This position suits an enthusiastic and ambitious developer with a keen interest in trading and an attitude adept at taking on lots of different requests. One day you could be working on a high functioning trading system, the next digging through Excel.

  • A Master in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA.
  • Good knowledge of Python and Pandas.
  • Good experience in Software Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with 1st or 2nd level support of Business-Critical Applications.
  • Experience in Linux and Windows administration.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Java, AWS Cloud Services, Bash scripting, Full Stack development appreciated.
  • C#.NET, Outlook VBA can be useful but not mandatory.
  • Personality: able to work under pressure, result-oriented, analytical mindset permitting to quickly identify and fix issues encountered.
  • Able to support a shift between 7am and 6pm from our Lausanne office and flexible to stay late in case of exceptional issues.
  • Collaborative environment that emphasizes a healthy climate in the team.
  • Languages: Good English skills; French and/or German a plus.
