Position Overview:

As the Head of Carbon and Nature Programs, you will spearhead our initiatives to commercialize the environmental attributes associated with Atlas Agro’s green fertilizer products. The role requires a strong commercial focus, generating first-of-a-kind at-scale agreements with food companies and agricultural partners. You will be the primary representative for sustainability at Atlas Agro, advocating for robust carbon accounting principles with policymakers to encourage low-carbon production practices industry-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategies to market the environmental attributes of Atlas Agro's green fertilizer.
  • Collaborating with food industry leaders and farming communities to establish and expand commercial partnerships.
  • Engaging with environmental consultants and regulatory bodies to influence and adapt carbon accounting standards.
  • Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adapt business strategies.
  • Representing Atlas Agro in public forums, conferences, and workshops related to climate change and sustainable agriculture.
  • Required Qualifications:Proven experience in a leadership role within a climate consultancy, food company, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of carbon markets, environmental credit systems, and sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders, including commercial enterprises, non-profits, and government entities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial mindset and experience with sales and marketing
