Apply nowOverviewYou will be responsible for maintaining the foreign trade-related information of our business units in Switzerland and various SKAN plants. You will act as process owner and expert in the area of free trade agreements and rules of origin on a global level and support various business units.ResponsibilitiesObtaining and monitoring export licences from SECOAdvising and supporting the business divisions and subsidiaries on export control and foreign trade law issuesCalculating preferences in accordance with the rules of origin of various free trade agreementsCarrying out foreign trade clarifications with regard to supply structures and international transactionsSupporting team members in Trade Compliance in the areas of tariff classification, origin and preference management, master data maintenance and other topicsCarrying out regular employee training on export controlsCarrying out sanctions list and embargo checks and classifying goods under export control lawSupport with ESG compliance (environmental, social, governance) and CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) requirements in the supply chain and their integration into foreign tradeCreation of reports as well as evaluation and analysis of KPIs to optimise processes in the area of export control and foreign tradeMinimum RequirementsCompleted commercial training with further training as a foreign trade specialistSeveral years of professional experience and sound expertise in export control and foreign tradeIdeally experience in an industrial environmentStrong communication skills and a confident manner in German and EnglishConfident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP an advantageSoftskillsEnjoying new challenges and finding practical solutionsAbility to carry out clarifications and projects independentlyQuick comprehension and ability to analyze new tasks and explain them clearlyTeam-oriented way of workingWe offer youAn open and collegial corporate cultureFreedom for ideasParticipation in sports and leisure activitiesPromotion through further training, especially at our SKAN AcademyIntensive and job-oriented introductionShort decision-making paths and flat hierarchies5 weeks holidays and the possibility of further holidaysTo apply, please upload your complete application documents (CV, diplomas and references) to our careers page.
