Senior Project Manager – Polaris/Equinox Project We are supporting our client, a leading Swiss financial infrastructure provider, in recruiting a Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) for the Polaris/Equinox Project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and dynamic team driving one of the most strategic transformation initiatives in the financial sector. Your Responsibilities Administrative Tasks Document Management: Organize and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and status reports. Meeting Organization: Prepare, conduct, and follow up on project meetings, including agendas and minutes. Communication Support: Ensure consistent information flow among stakeholders. Methodological and Tool-Based Tasks Methodology Expertise: Apply and ensure adherence to project management standards (e.g., Prince2). Tool Support: Manage project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and train project staff. Quality Assurance: Support reviews, gate checks, and lessons learned sessions. Reporting and Governance Status Reporting: Create project status reports for steering committees and management. KPIs and Metrics: Maintain dashboards, traffic light indicators, milestone trend analysis, etc. Steering Committee Preparation: Prepare content and decision‑making materials. Interface Management Coordination with Other Projects or PMOs: Align dependencies, resources, and shared deliverables. Stakeholder Management: Support identification and communication with relevant stakeholders. What You Bring University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMI, IPMA Level B/C, Prince2) are highly desirable. 7+ years of experience in project planning, risk management, and controlling, with a proven track record as a (Senior) PMO. 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), particularly for planning and progress tracking. Demonstrated ability to deliver stakeholder‑oriented reporting and communication at C-level. Solid experience applying project management methodologies such as Prince2. Structured and detail‑oriented work style. Assertiveness combined with diplomacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Business‑level German and English (Spanish is a plus). Additional Knowledge (Nice to Have) Basic understanding of compliance and security requirements in financial infrastructure. Familiarity with stock exchange operations.
