We are looking for...
a highly motivated Procurement Associate for our Finance department.
Your tasks
- Support the procurement team in administrational and coordinational tasks across the entire procurement process: identification, documentation, analyzes, offer comparison, management of supplier relationships etc.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the supplier database and maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation, including contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
- Support the team in processing orders in the procurement systems in accordance with procurement policy and SOPs.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis as well assist in preparing documentation for audits.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support, maintenance, and enhancement of procurement systems, ensuring they function optimally and meet the evolving needs of the procurement department.
- Provide technical support and training to the business, helping business to utilize procurement systems more effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing procurement insights and support as needed.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business administration or a related field or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in procurement, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and good understanding of procurement software, CRM and ERP systems (SAP) is desirable.
- Sound understanding of procurement processes, technologies to ensure that company stays up-to-date with industry standards.
- Very good communication skills, fluent in English, spoken and written, any other language is considered beneficial.
- Well-organized and structured with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, keep the overview and good capacity to prioritize well.
- Proactive mindset to positively resolve or find solutions to issues and challenges with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Strong affinity for IT and a technical understanding of IT tools and processes, overall experience in finance would be an asset.
