Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Project Manager to lead and manage cross-functional, strategic business projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within scope, on time, and within budget.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business projects
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure adherence to these plans
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Your background
- Master or bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a business or strategic project environment
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
