Job Overview The IMSC Manager, Project Process & Capabilities is a hybrid position supported across multiple countries. Potential hub locations include Titusville, New Jersey; Horsham, Pennsylvania; Zug, Switzerland; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Cork, Ireland; Latina, Italy; Leiden, Netherlands; and Beerse, Belgium. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve processes, communications, and training necessary to support portfolio, project, and resource management across the J&J IM supply chain. Lead process ownership to manage, deploy, document and maintain processes and ensure they are lean, scalable and strategically integrated with strategy and execution. Integrate processes with systems and reporting to deliver an end‑to‑end solution; deploy training aligned with the strategy. Support capability roadmaps across Portfolio, Program, and Project Management and activate improvement/maturity plans to advance decision making and streamline execution. Training & Support Provide day‑to‑day process support to the IMSC portfolio, program & project management community and apply innovative solutions to optimize and mature the capabilities. Develop and execute a lean, effective training strategy for the global and diverse user base of portfolio processes and tools. Deliver requirements and identify efficiencies to the IMSC business processes and deployment. Qualifications Education Minimum of a Bachelor’s/University or equivalent degree; a focused degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or IT is preferred. Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience. Deep experience in leading process development, operations, finance, and/or portfolio or project management. Demonstrated experience in process capability improvement & optimization, including documentation, deployment, training, and collaboration to identify best practices. Strong stakeholder / change management skills. Leadership skills, including the ability to influence without authority, collaborate across boundaries, negotiate solutions, and build a case for change. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills with the ability to influence and collaborate to reach a desired result. Strong communication skills to create clear, concise messaging to leadership and to work well in teams, cross‑functionally, and with all levels of the global organization. Preferred Experience & Skills Knowledge of Portfolio & Project Management systems and tools; experience with portfolio/project management software. People leadership experience and strong talent development skills. Ability to synthesize large quantities of finance, process, and technical information and present cogent recommendations. Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Project Management Professional (PMP or FPX), and/or Change Management (PROSCI). Other Requirements Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally. Up to 15% domestic and/or international travel. Flexibility to work on‑site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week.
