Postdoctoral Fellow to work on mesoscopic magnetic systems 100 % Branche Region The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. For the Mesoscopic Systems Group at PSI, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on mesoscopic magnetic systems. Your tasks Conduct outstanding research in the field of mesoscopic magnetic systems Fabricate and optimize nanostructures and devices with nanofabrication methods Study the behaviour with a lab‑based setups and large‑scale facilities Demonstrate possible applications Perform simulations to supplement the experimental data Publish the results of the scientific and technical achievements in high impact journals Your profile Excellent qualifications with a PhD degree in physics, material science, or a related field and enjoy practical work Knowledge of magnetism, nanofabrication methods and large‑scale facility characterisation is beneficial As an enthusiastic researcher you like teamwork and have a flexible approach to working between different laboratories, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team We offer Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
