MECHANICAL INSPECTOR

We are looking for

Mechanical Inspector resident in the district of Lausanne (Swiss).

1. Conducting periodical and commissioning inspections on various lifting equipment, including Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Forklifts, Cranes, and Hoists.
2. Conducting inspections and factory acceptance tests on various mechanical equipment, including Valves, Pumps, Compressors, and Welded structures.
3. Performing final inspections in accordance with project requirements and applicable industry standards to ensure the quality and compliance of the mechanical equipment.
4. Creating detailed and high-quality inspection reports.
5. Reviewing final documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

1. Professional background in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Knowledge of Directive 2006/42/EC - machinery directive/EN 280 and SUVA requirements for lifting equipment.
3. Demonstrated experience in 2nd and 3rd party inspections.
4. Qualification of periodical lifting inspection or demonstrated experience would be an advantage.
5. Fluent in French and English; the ability to work in German would be an advantage.
6. Swiss nationality or Swiss work permit mandatory.
