DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Extrabudgetary Contributions team, including coordination with the project managers, in analyzing award and project related information in preparation of the new ERP system, which is expected to go-live 1 January 2025;
- Assist the Extrabudgetary Contributions team in preparing Official Receipt letters related to the receipt of voluntary contributions;
- Assist the Financial Reporting team in the review and clean-up of general ledger data in anticipation of the new ERP system;
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Received or in process of obtaining a first level degree in business, accounting, finance or other related field.
Experience
No specific experience required; however, having experience working in accounting related activities is a distinct advantage.
Other requirements
- Positive attitude.
- Team-focused attitude.
- Desire to learn and contribute; ability to work in multi-cultural environments.
Languages
Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written). Knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of other official languages of the Organization would be an advantage.
(Note: The official languages of the Organization are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.)
