DITH - Duferco International Trading Holding is a global leader in the trading and distribution of steel and the raw materials essential to steel production. We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of at least 5 years in managing complex hybrid environments and leading IT infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in defining, implementing, and maintaining our cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and implement the evolution of the group’s IT architecture, covering both cloud and on-premise virtual infrastructures. Lead and contribute to technological improvement initiatives and related project management activities. Oversee system performance, tuning, and capacity planning for servers and networking. Ensure the security, patching, and integrity of systems and applications through proactive and reactive measures. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system and service issues. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a System Administrator. Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems, VMware, and database management. Expertise with Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs and services) and M365 environments. Skilled in storage, backup, and restore management using leading market solutions. Knowledge of security systems, networking (preferably Cisco), and group policy management. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management tools. Understanding of cybersecurity standards, privacy regulations, and vulnerability management. Ability to lead, multitask, and work with a structured, process‑oriented approach. Occasional travel and experience with industrial network equipment will be considered an advantage. Key Skills Languages: Fluent in Italian and English. Proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
