This role develops and operates the technical foundations of an internal generative AI solution, including data architectures and pipelines for an engineering organization.
Your tasks
- Design scalable data architectures and data pipelines for an internal generative AI solution
- Build vector databases (RAG) and graph databases
- Ensure secure and reliable operation of the AI solution
- Evaluate suitable AI models and new technologies
- Define technical standards for platforms, APIs and models
- Ensure quality of data integrations through testing
- Collaborate closely with IT and other departments, considering data protection and IT security
What you bring
- Completed degree in computer science, data engineering, business informatics or comparable field
- Experience building modern data and AI solutions
- Sound knowledge of cloud architectures (e.g. Azure)
- Experience with data pipelines, MLOps and database integrations
- Experience with vector databases and RAG systems
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Docker
- Fluent English required; basic German is helpful

- Workload: 60-100 %
- Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
