To further strengthen the team we are looking for a hands-on and dedicated Exclusive API Manager, (f/m/d), 100% with a strong customer focus and business acumen.Responsible for driving, developing, managing and supporting the business of the assigned portfolio, focused on late phase or commercial assetsDevelop trusted relationships with the assigned customers, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors, and other key personnel in the Bachem organization (e.g. Business Development, Sales, Strategic Alliances, Operations)Take a leading role in ensuring the flow of information between the customer and Bachem in all matters (Marketing, Production, R&D, QA/QC/RA, etc.)Negotiate complex contracts and close supply agreements to maximize Bachem’s benefitDevelop technical and commercially complex business proposalsPrepare sales forecasts, reports, demand plans and market/portfolio analysesActively participate and collaborate as subject matter expert (SME) in internal and external projects and meetingsObserve the market, the competition and transfer information internally on chances, threats and trends in close collaboration with Business Intelligence and Product ManagementYour profileBSC/MSC in Chemistry/Life Science (preferred) or BusinessA minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in business development, sales or strategic sourcing, and preferably in the CDMO/CMO contextLeadership skills in managing change and influencing others in matrix organizationsStrong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset; good understanding of the CDMO business and market is a plusHands-on, flexible, and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment to deliver tangible resultsTeam player, strong listening skills and collaborative mindsetDemonstrated experience in negotiating and the implementation of high-value contractsSolid understanding of the chemical development, production, and regulatory value chain of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API)Professional proficiency in English, German is a plusExperienced user of ERP and CRM systemsAbility to travel 20% domestically and internationallyOur offerA dynamic and rapidly growing work environment with internal development opportunitiesFlexible working hours with home office days and an option for obtaining additional vacation days through workload reductionEmployee development through numerous internal and external training opportunities60% coverage of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as option for extra-mandatory pension provision with our Pension Plan PlusAccess to the Swibeco benefits platform with discounts from external partnersFresh, healthy and varied food in our staff restaurantA wide range of free sports activities on the Bachem CampusWould you like to drive innovation and growth together with us?We look forward to receiving your complete application documents via our application portal.Learn more about the Bachem Group and get inspired by our exciting work environment at our location in BubendorfPlease note: unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies will not be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
