PMO/ Project Manager – Contract
Oliver James is partnering with a global financial services business based in Zurich to find a PMO/ Project Manager for a 9 month period.
You will play an important role in supporting the business in the development of their business change processes and procedures, and in the successful transition from process change and implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders to implement and monitor project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks across the organisation.
- Develop and maintain structured project and portfolio management documentation, including resource allocation plans, timeframes, and deliverables tracking.
- Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and senior leadership to ensure the effective delivery of business, operational, and process transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or Officer (c. 2 – 5 years).
- Project or change management experience is preferred.
- Experience within financial services or insurance sector preferred.
- Background in management consultancy would be beneficial.
- Education or qualifications within business change management are preferred.
Start Date: c. March - April 2025
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Contract Duration: 9-month initial contract, with potential for extension.
Workload: 50-100%.
Industry: Financial Services.
Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, applications are only open to Swiss nationals, EU citizens, or individuals with a valid Swiss work permit.
