Technology Workstream Lead - Finance (m/w/d)

Are you an experienced leader in Finance IT transformation with a passion for driving business innovation? We are seeking a Technology Workstream Lead – Finance to spearhead the financial technology integration within a major pharmaceutical transformation program. This role is a critical driver of change, responsible for ensuring that finance-related technology solutions align with strategic business objectives, delivering cutting-edge, compliant, and scalable solutions.

As an Associate Director-level position, this role demands an expert in finance IT landscapes, particularly in SAP implementation, who can lead cross-functional teams and oversee large-scale transformation projects in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Leadership & Strategy: Lead and execute finance technology workstream strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business transformation goals.
  • Finance IT Integration: Oversee seamless implementation and integration of SAP and other financial systems, ensuring interoperability and regulatory compliance.
  • Project Management: Drive large-scale IT projects within finance, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to meet key milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with finance leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Identify potential risks, ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations and IT governance policies.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Promote innovation by streamlining finance processes and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change strategies to support user adoption and transformation success.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 10+ years in finance IT transformation, with extensive experience in SAP implementation.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Finance IT Knowledge: Deep understanding of finance systems, ERP solutions (SAP S/4HANA preferred), and regulatory frameworks.
  • Project Management: Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies for managing finance IT projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and engagement skills to influence senior business and IT leaders.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Experience ensuring compliance with financial and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex IT and business challenges.
