Tasks

As the Junior SEO & Content Creator Assistant, your role will help boost our SEO presence by improving our blogs, landing page content, and other written materials. You may currently be studying marketing or have some experience with SEO and have a keen interest in taking on a bigger SEO project on your own in a thriving business. This role is a part-time remote position (~50% workload), perfect for a working student who wants to gain valuable, hands-on experience before starting a full-time career.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and monitor search performance to inform content strategies.
  • Assist in creating and optimizing content while learning SEO strategies, including writing and updating compelling blog articles, landing pages, and other website content.
  • Learn and understand the customer journey to deliver relevant content that speaks to our audience and gets more clicks.
  • Continuously research, learn, and stay on top of new trends in SEO and customer communication strategies.
  • Create structured content briefs for freelance writers to ensure content aligns with SEO and branding goals.
  • Analyze content performance and suggest improvements.
  • Support updating email marketing copy and social media captions to further optimize search engine results.
  • Be creative Brainstorm and contribute fresh content strategies to engage existing and new customers.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level or native) and native German speaker.
  • Based in a CET timezone.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories through written form.
  • Strong writing skills and interest in content creation & SEO.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles (or willingness to learn).
  • Technically savvy and comfortable exploring new tools to help you learn and succeed.
  • Self-motivated and looking for an exciting new challenge.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible working hours.
  • 100% remote position, with the possibility of working from anywhere in Switzerland.
  • Hands-on experience in an international, fast-growing company.
