Zurich Canada is currently looking for an Operations Analyst to coordinate, deliver, and strengthen training programs for new staff, drive quality checks on premium booking, and act as a liaison between operations, audit teams, and collections/finance groups. Reporting to the Manager Technical Services, you will be responsible for onboarding new team members, supporting audit activities, and reconciling premium transactions against reports. You’ll work closely with collections and finance, review Power BI reports, and provide expertise on internal systems and business booking methods. This role is not market‑facing, but will interact with TST teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting quality and operational excellence. What you will do Coordinate and deliver onboarding and technical training for new staff; serve as a subject matter expert (SME) Perform quality checks on premium booking and reporting, focusing on accuracy and assurance Act as a liaison between operations, audit teams (internal/external), and collections/finance staff Reconcile premium transactions booked in internal systems against reports; identify and resolve discrepancies Support audit processes by preparing documentation and explaining business booking methods Build, analyze, and interpret reports—including Power BI—to support decision‑making and quality control Conduct training needs assessments and develop training curricula for departmental staff Collect, interpret, and report departmental metrics within established deadlines Help ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices Maintain documentation and internal communications to support smooth operations Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table Required: Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Operations area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Operations area Preferred: Experience with accounting or finance, especially reconciling transactions and reports Experience building, interpreting, and explaining Power BI or similar reports Previous insurance industry experience (premium booking, returns, or operations) Experience supporting audit processes and liaising with audit, collections, or finance teams Proven problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills Prior experience training staff and serving as a SME Our Culture At Zurich, we are proud of our culture.
