Position Calibration Specialist Location Zurich, Switzerland Employment type Full‑time Responsibilities Calibrate the assigned tools of the accredited calibration area in SR Technics based on EN ISO/IEC 17025. Calibrate tools within the expected turnaround time (TAT) or upon an agreed date with the customer. Communicate with customers about findings, required specifications, target dates, etc. Request publication of technical specifications. Control each certificate after performance of tool calibration to ensure required quality. Check data entry in the system to have all required information according to internal instructions. Ensure the availability of the necessary standards, tools and programs. Act as the contact person for the responsible range of tools. Calibrate tools on‑site in the shop if necessary. Perform repairs on electrical or mechanical tools whenever required and possible. Process and analyse the measured values and information collected. Make decisions based on legal requirements and standards. Qualifications Apprenticeship as a craftsman (electronics) or equivalent. Experience as a general foreman or manufacturing production. At least 3 years of calibration business experience and knowledge of the legal regulation for calibration. At least 1 year of technical understanding. Logical, analytical, flexible, overview‑keeping on complex areas, proficient in MS Office, organized, and with communication skills to build relationships with customers and suppliers. SAP knowledge is beneficial. German C1 level; English B2 level.
