The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) is a leading global NGO dedicated to the development, improvement, and legal protection of intellectual property. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, AIPPI is a politically neutral, non‑profit organization with about 9,000 members from over 118 countries, including legal professionals, academics, and officials. Job Title Marketing and Communications Manager Vacancy Number 2025/10 Location AIPPI General Secretariat, Zurich, Switzerland Workload 80-100% Starting date 1 December 2025 or upon mutual agreement Reporting to President Team, Executive Director Cooperating with Bureau, Secretary General Team, General Secretariat, various AIPPI Committees, AIPPI National Regional Groups, individual AIPPI members Your main tasks Define and execute Marketingand Communications activities according to AIPPI Strategy (all media, incl. social media) Content manager, marketing, media relations, and corporate communications and campaigns (media and digital) Act as primary contact for stakeholders (board, partners, sponsors, media) Oversees international Congress and Events communications Safeguard and develop the corporate identity and brand architecture Coach and develop the MarCom team Analyze KPIs and prepare management reports on campaign performance Drive innovation and adoption of new digital tools and communication channels Represent the MarCom function in international committees and projects Your Profile Master’s degree in marketing, Sales, Communications or business administration, or equivalent Minimum 8 years of direct work experience in Marketing andCommunications capacity, work experience in the NGO sector preferred Ability to manage, co‑ordinate and execute the end‑to‑end marketing processes while meeting deadlines and budget requirements Demonstrated proficiency and hands‑on experience in marketing techniques, technologies, (email) marketing campaigns and media relations Ability to take initiative, think creative and innovative Highly effective and efficient project management, prioritization, multi‑tasking while maintaining high work standards, and time management skills to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders (leadership, members, partners) Empathic personality Strategic and creative communicator with the ability to translate complex IP concepts into accessible narratives Passionate about intellectual property and its role in innovation and global progress Knowledge of CRM and membership systems (e.g. CRM Dynamics) Excellent MS 365 and project management tools (e.g. Asana).
