Category-Manager / Strategic Buyer

For our Procurement department at Leister Technologies AG, we are looking for an assertive and persuasive personality with strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of electronic components as well as bare and assembled printed circuit boards
  • Strategic development and implementation of a sustainable product group strategy
  • Independent implementation of supplier benchmarks
  • Independent monitoring and analysis of international procurement markets and early identification of trends and areas for action
  • Establishment and expansion of supplier pools including negotiations of international supplier contracts
  • Qualification and development of suppliers together with the specialist departments
  • Close cooperation with development and production
  • Systematic analysis and implementation of potential savings
Your Profile:
  • Technical, commercial or business management training with further training in procurement, SCM, electrical engineering, electronics or similar
  • Proven track record in international procurement
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
