For our client Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a motivated and reliable (m/f/d) Procurement Project Manager 100%.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor and control project execution.
- Monitor and mitigate risk – proactively identify and report any projected risks to overall targets or timelines as well as potential mitigation strategies.
- Planning, design, and leadership of global Sourcing & Benchmarking projects.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Drive close alignment with relevant stakeholders within Roche Diagnostics and across Roche Group.
- Lead global, cross-functional projects to expand and continuously improve the modern procurement process landscape.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements/improvement potential.
- Manage backlog.
- Leverage modern digital procurement technology to drive an efficient, compliant Sourcing & Benchmarking process.
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes, identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining, and cost savings.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance overall procurement efficiency.
- University degree (preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Life Sciences).
- High English proficiency.
- 5+ years in procurement/supply chain, delivering value in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, operational efficiency, or digitalisation, ideally in global Pharma/Medical Device companies.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Expertise in direct spend categories, cost levers, and market fundamentals.
- Strong strategic sourcing and supplier management background in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals).
- 3+ years project management experience, including risk management, reporting, and delivering measurable results.
- Skilled in senior stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Documented international strategic sourcing and cross-functional project experience.
- Expertise in new product/technology transfer processes.
- Experienced in global matrix and cross-functional environments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Quality).
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview) and database tools (e.g., Access).
- Proficient in enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., GEP, Ariba).
- Postgraduate business-related qualification. Additional qualification in the areas of Procurement or Project Management.
- Life Sciences or Management Consulting industry experience.
- Any professional purchasing (e.g. CIPS), project management (e.g. PMP, Prince 2), or Finance related licenses or certifications would be considered advantageous.
