Quality Control Analyst (60%-80%) – 6780 ADA Our client is a specialist biotherapeutics manufacturer with over a century of experience treating various diseases worldwide. They are committed to patients with coagulation disorders, immunological diseases, enzyme deficiency diseases, and other rare diseases. In the Biochemical Quality Control department/Cell Culture Analytics (CCA) group, we are seeking a well-qualified and motivated Quality Control Analyst for a 12-month contract position at our client's headquarters in Bern. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will contribute significantly to the success of a high-priority project. In the Cell Culture Analytics Laboratory, release tests for our life‑saving immunoglobulin products are carried out primarily manually in compliance with applicable CGMP guidelines. Our specialties include: Cell culture Neutralisation tests (anti‑polio, anti‑diphtheria, and anti‑measles) Main Responsibilities The practical implementation, evaluation, and documentation of the anti‑measles neutralisation test as part of a method optimisation project. Close practical and theoretical collaboration with a method development specialist within the framework of the above project. Further tasks, depending on workload, include: Cell culture routine (e.g., splitting of adherent cell lines) Carrying out other neutralisation tests in the QC routine (anti‑polio and anti‑diphtheria neutralisation tests) Participation in the maintenance, calibration and monitoring of analytical equipment Participation in the procurement and stock management of consumables and laboratory materials Participation in the maintenance of the laboratory (e.g., laboratory cleaning) Qualifications & Experience Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required Completed vocational apprenticeship as a laboratory technician specialising in biology or comparable training (e.g., Bachelor, HF, FH, etc.) Experience with cell assays and cell culture technology Experience working in a BSL2 virus laboratory Experience in a GMP environment is an advantage Willingness to undergo mandatory medical qualification: vaccinations & blood sampling Basic IT skills (MS Office) Very good German skills; basic English skills Your Personality Is Characterized By Analytical thinking: proactive search for causal relationships Interest and enjoyment in working on a high-priority project for method optimisation Resilient personality, ability to work reliably under time pressure Flexibility towards frequently changing workflows in method development Calm, precise and conscientious working style High degree of responsibility, willingness to proactively report errors and learn from them Team‑oriented collaboration, open and constructive communication Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Quality Assurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
