We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Sales team in Geneva and oversee the acquisition of customers across Switzerland. You will maximize sales opportunities within assigned accounts, forge productive relationships with key personnel, and analyze and develop market potential. Responsibilities Lead and drive the development of new accounts Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients across all BioPharma markets Build and explore an in‑depth understanding of the customer's business, industry, strategic direction, and competitors Develop strategic, value‑added partnerships with the customer by working with key decision makers and influencers to position long‑term strategic issues and solutions Build understanding of World Courier’s capabilities and service/product offerings in the customer arena Deal with all aspects of specific marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and seminars Identify, qualify and prioritize all potential opportunities related to the account(s) Engage regional World Courier operatives to identify opportunities to position their services within the account(s) Work with cross‑functional departments to guide development of solutions for the customer Deliver solutions that are highly valued by the customer as high‑impact, complex, and strategic Proactively monitor, manage, and improve quality through specific metrics, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution Identify risk areas and build/manage contingency plans Identify new market opportunities Manage sales pipeline and track KPIs Requirements Languages: Fluent in English (essential), French (essential). German an asset. 1–2 years professional experience in business development, sales, or account management, or an intern wanting to grow in the field and could be the first job as a BDE. Graduate degree desirable. Experience in the logistics/transport or pharmaceutical/life science industry desirable. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. High customer orientation and strong communication/presentation skills, verbally and written. Knowledge of web‑based software and Customer Relationship Management tools such as Salesforce.
