Overview of contract:

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a SAP BW/4HANA Developer.

Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension/internalization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT developer for Financial Accounting, MIS, Treasury, Credits, Market and Wealth Planning areas.
  2. Acting as IT developer with the mandate to implement the business requirements placed in the backlog.
  3. Analyse the business requirements, identify potential blind spots and discuss them with business stakeholders, build solutions, perform sanity checks to meet project goals and fix potential defects.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Experience and Skills:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with ideally IT banking experience in Market, Treasury, or Management Accounting.
  2. Modeling BW/4HANA objects (such as Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSO), transformations, etc.).
  3. Developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) with table functions.
  4. Creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based ones).
  5. Designing ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) views.
  6. Proven track record of SAP BW and SAP HANA experience is a must for this role.
  7. Knowledge of Dataiku, Python, SQL, R, or other analytical programming languages and software.
  8. Experience with the SAP transport management system.
  9. Ability to manage the entire development lifecycle (including testing and documentation).
  10. Proficiency in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OO) to create and maintain small applications for automating object creation and testing.
  11. Familiarity with testing methodologies and their application.
  12. Experience with IT development using agile methodology (Jira/Confluence experience).
  13. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
