Communication and Events Officer 80-100 %Organization: ETH Zürich SEC AG – NCCR Catalysis Project OfficeLocation: Zürich, ETH-Hönggerberg (ZH)Employment Start: ImmediatelyEmployment Duration: Until 12 Nov 2026Role OverviewThe NCCR Catalysis Project Office seeks a Communication and Events Officer to support the project’s communication, events, and reporting activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and reinforce communication across website, social media, and newsletters.Support the organization of international conferences, schools and other annual meetings (Annual Meeting, Annual Review Meeting, Sustainability Day).Contribute to yearly reporting: data entry, analysis in reporting interfaces, and scientific writing.Coordinate educational activities and support visits of guest lecturers.QualificationsMaster’s degree (M.Sc.) in chemical sciences or related field.Experience in scientific communication, marketing, social media writing, and event organization.Strong written and verbal English (very good), German/French an advantage.Proactive, strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.Self‑motivated, curious, comfortable working across a range of topics.Ability to attend up to 3 multi‑day on‑site events per year in Switzerland.BenefitsWe offer a dynamic office environment in a multilingual team, flexible working conditions, and good social benefits in line with ETH Zurich standards.ApplicationSubmit an online application via the portal, including a motivation letter and links to up to three writing examples.Contact: Dr. Marie-Francine Lagadec and Dr. Sharon Mitchell (email via portal).Job ID: 8093For recruitment services the GTC of ETH Zurich apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
