Position Summary

We at Nestlé Research & Development in Konolfingen near Bern, Switzerland develop new products, processes, and packaging concepts for Nestlé worldwide in the areas of Dairy and Nutrition. In addition, we provide technical assistance to our factories.

As a Human Resources Intern, you will support the local HR team in daily activities and ongoing HR projects. This is a great opportunity to gain first work experience in Human Resources in a multinational work environment as part of the Nestlé Research & Development Center in Konolfingen.

A Day in the Life of a Human Resources Intern

1. Initiate and follow up activities along the Employee Lifecycle such as entry process, transfer of employees, contractual changes, and departure of an employee.
2. Update workforce plan, entry and departure lists.
3. Prepare salary comparison, salary proposals, and initiate special payments.
4. Provide administrative support within the different HR Processes.
5. Analyse HR KPI on a monthly basis and propose measures for improvement.
6. Collaborate with HR BP in different projects such as employee surveys and audits.
7. Support employees with various HR questions.

What will make you successful

1. Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, focus on Human Resources.
2. A strong interest in the HR field is essential; prior working experience in HR is a plus.
3. Strong interest in working in a multicultural environment.
4. Good analytical skills and a proactive mindset.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel basic functions, PowerPoint).
6. Fluency in German and English.
