Senior Specialist, Strategic Operations (Business Development) 📍 Lausanne, Switzerland About the Role We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Strategic Operations (Business Development) to help drive strategic execution and sustainable growth across Bata. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Strategic Operations, shaping key initiatives that strengthen our business, unlock new opportunities, and accelerate company-wide impact. You will explore new business models, markets, and partnerships, while also steering cross-functional projects end-to-end. With a strong blend of analytical rigor and business development mindset, you’ll turn strategic priorities into measurable results. What You’ll Do Strategic Operations Partner with the VP to monitor, coordinate, and accelerate execution of strategic initiatives across functions. Support the planning and delivery of company-wide programs aligned with long-term goals. Collaborate with the Re-Ignite team to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and remove roadblocks. Business Development Develop and execute business plans with clear timelines, KPIs, and financial impact. Test new ideas, scale validated projects, and surface key opportunities or challenges. Work with the PMO to strengthen governance, reporting, and project standards. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Foster effective communication across global teams and ensure alignment on priorities. Support leadership in establishing accountability and tracking for high-impact initiatives. Strategic Planning & Decision Support Gather insights from stakeholders and turn them into actionable recommendations. Prepare decision-making materials for the VP and senior leadership. What You Bring Core Competencies Soft Skills: Strategic thinking, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, adaptability, proactiveness, and attention to detail. Technical Skills: Data analytics & financial modelling, strategic planning frameworks, project management, business intelligence tools, and operational understanding. Experience & Education Early career experience in strategy, business development, or brand management (industry experience is a plus). Bachelor’s degree. Fluency in English required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
