ACCA ACCA seeks experienced Data Science professionals to create high-quality learning content for the new Data Science offerings. As a Freelance Content Creator, you will develop engaging, pedagogically sound materials including study guides, practice questions, case studies, worked examples, and interactive learning resources that align with ACCA's standards and support candidates' success. Key Responsibilities Content Development Create original learning materials for assigned syllabus sections. Develop practice questions, case studies, and worked examples with detailed solutions. Write clear, accessible explanations of complex data science concepts for accounting/finance professionals. Produce content suitable for diverse, international, non-native English-speaking learners. Ensure all content aligns with learning outcomes and ACCA's required technical standards. Quality & Collaboration Work closely with the Qualification Content Lead (QCL) and subject matter experts. Incorporate feedback from technical reviews and quality assurance processes. Ensure content is original, accurate, and free from plagiarism. Meet agreed deadlines and production schedules. Participate in review meetings as required. Content Types (may include but not limited to) Study guide chapters and topic explainers. Practice question banks (MCQs, case-based, coding exercises) for formative assessment. Jupyter notebook tutorials and worked examples. Video scripts or interactive learning activities. Supplementary materials (datasets, code templates, reference sheets). Essential Qualifications & Experience Strong expertise in Data Science (Master's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred). Proven knowledge of Python, SQL, machine learning, and modern DS tools (Jupyter, cloud platforms). Experience in technical writing, educational content creation, or curriculum development. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly. Understanding of pedagogy and learning principles. Familiarity with accounting, finance, or business applications of data science. ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification (desirable). Key Restrictions Cannot use or share ACCA content outside the scope of this agreement. The content written may not be used for any other purpose and all IP created will be owned by ACCA. Must maintain confidentiality regarding unpublished materials and syllabus developments. Cannot create competing content for other professional bodies or universities without ACCA's written consent during the contract period. Commitment Contract type: Freelance/project-based. Time commitment: Flexible, project-dependent (estimated hours provided per assignment). Remuneration: Competitive per-word, per-question, per day or per-project fees (details provided separately).
