Our client is an international group active in several areas, including power production and trading, renewable energy sources, electricity supply products. With the support from Open Search Network they are looking to hire on a permanent basis:

Deep Learning Engineer

(Lugano, Switzerland)

Company: End User / Energy

Tasks

  • Develop, implement, and optimize cutting-edge deep learning models for various applications, including computer vision, natural language processing, and more
  • Seamlessly integrate open-source deep learning models and libraries into your projects
  • Utilize transfer learning and fine-tuning techniques to effectively leverage pre-trained models
  • Deploy models into production environments, ensuring scalability and peak efficiency
  • Proactively scout and evaluate emerging technologies that can be leveraged within the company's operations
  • Dedicate a portion of your work to general data science tasks and projects

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing deep learning models
  • Hands-on experience with open-source deep learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries, including pandas and scikit-learn
  • Strong familiarity with computer vision and/or natural language processing techniques
  • A deep understanding of transfer learning and the ability to apply it effectively
  • Proficiency in data science and statistics

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with deep reinforcement learning
  • Experience handling structured and unstructured data, data pipelines, ETL and data organization in databases, data warehouses, data lakes
  • Previous publications or notable contributions to the field of deep learning
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools and services for model deployment and management
