We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.

In this role, you will lead the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety, and environmental requirements.

Your role:

  1. Developing project schedules and determining resource requirements.
  2. Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.
  3. Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization).
  4. Managing After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs.
  5. Identifying and resolving obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget.
  6. Managing multiple, interrelated projects, including business transformation projects.
  7. Integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables when applicable.

Your background:

  1. Electrical Engineering background (technical university degree).
  2. Proven experience in Project Management with a focus on Transformers and Reactors.
  3. Collaboration with a diverse number of stakeholders.
  4. Very good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plus.
  5. A strong communicator, self-driven, and open-minded.
  6. Structured and organized, with the ability to work under time pressure.
  7. A team player able to build and motivate a project team.
